Meanwood Primary School is a two form entry school (60 children per year group) and also has a Nursery Class. We are situated in the Spotland area of Rochdale.
The school dates back over 100 years. It has been situated on its current site since 1902. The original Victorian red brick building now houses Key Stage 2 (Year 3 up to Year 6) with a school hall, outdoor space and the administrative office.
In 1992 our Foundation Stage and Key stage 1 building was added on the other side of Churchill Street which includes its own assembly/P.E. hall and outdoor space.
We are fortunate to have a large site including, separate playgrounds for Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2, Large Field, Canteen, Garden Area, Music Room and Tree House (inclusion room).
